Minerve's Delights
Minerve is a village located above the Cesse, a nearby river which disappears underground into a large natural tunnel where concerts and poetry readings are now held.
The village's antiquity is evident for it's name comes from the temple of Minerva once occupied on this site. it was also here that the cathar's took refuge after the massacre of Béziers in 1209.
A beautiful village to visit and uncover its many more historical delights; as well as taste among the unique wine menu.
